DNA Dating Services – Would You
Seriously this is not a joke? There are really legitimate businesses out there that are promoting dating services with the help of your DNA. Forget the chance meetings the awkward conversations or the long nites hanging out at clubs or bars.
Forget about the need for romance now you can just give a sample and let these companies scientific calculations and algorithms tell you who is the perfect match for you. All for the low bargain price of what, $999! Really no kidding some of these places are charging upwards of one thousand dollars. Not a believer that these places are out there here is a report that was on the Today show recently.
Well what do you say now? Are there really people out there that are subjecting themselves to this kind of nonsense. The answer would be yes as there is not just one of these companies but quite a few and more of them seem to be popping up as if it is the wave of the future and all people will someday just submit their DNA into the dating pool. As if you are doing a google search and you are trusting that the search algorithm will give you your top ten best matches.
Are you kidding! Is this really a viable way to find your life partner or even someone you can relate to for that matter. No thanks, stick to the good ole fashioned physical chemistry. We seem to have populated the earth plenty with method so if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

I wouldn’t try this method. Firstly, there’s no way I could afford it! But also it seems a bit cold and clinical for my liking.
Sure, there’s a very strong biological, genetic component to relationships. That “chemistry” is exactly that.
But we are also thinking, spiritual beings. I’d like to think that we connect as much – or more – on these levels.

I would agree Matt. I can’t imagine this type of matching really becoming popular, stranger things have happened though.
